Your Sales Network Will Determine Your Net Worth!

Your NetworthSales is all about relationships. The more relationships you have, the bigger your sales network. The bigger your sales network, the bigger your net worth! Your level of success in life will be dependant upon your relationships within your sales network!

Think about it. People buy from people – people they like and trust. . Once people buy from you, they will buy anything and everything you have for sale no matter where you go or what you sell, providing you maintain your sales network relationships.

So, stop selling your company and it’s products and services and start selling yourself into sales network relationships.

How do you do that?

There are many ways to build your sales network. First it is all about meeting people and creating that relationship based on trust and value, not on brand, product or services that you provide. Also, it is not about you, it is about them, so get them talking and listen!

There is sales network value in people who ask questions and listen and no sales network value in having to listen to a salesperson babble on. Apply the 70 / 30 rule and listen 70% of the time and ask questions the other 30% of the time. If my math is right that equals 100%, leaving no time for talking.

Calvett Roberts has a great quote that is so fitting for building sales networks – “Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.”

Steven Covey also has a good one – “Seek first to understand, to be understood”

Now read both of these quotes again and get that message sunk into your head, that is if you want to build a sales network.

The Bottom Line – Sales is not about brands, products or services, but about sales network relationships. Are you building and maintaining those relationships in your sales network?
